SOPs, Work Orders, Authority & Escalation

Three focused lessons move from the underlying decision model into worked examples, guided practice, and the module learning test.

Why this module matters

Commercial cultivation is repeatable only when workers can tell what instruction is current, what task is assigned, what evidence shows completion, what to do when conditions differ from plan, and where their authority ends. “I usually do it this way” is not a controlled process.

EPA quality guidance defines SOPs as written instructions for routine or repetitive work and emphasizes consistency, organization-specific detail and accessibility to the people performing the work. This course transfers those quality-system ideas into cultivation without pretending EPA QA guidance is cannabis law.
