Records, Shift Handoff & Integrated Workflow

Three focused lessons move from the underlying decision model into worked examples, guided practice, and the module learning test.

Why this module matters

Cultivation is a continuous process. The plants, rooms, equipment and open problems remain after an individual shift ends. Reliable records and handoffs allow the next person to understand what happened without reconstructing the shift from memory.

WHO data-integrity guidance provides a useful quality model for reliable records. HSE human-factors guidance shows why shift handover requires preparation, two-way exchange and cross-checking rather than a one-direction note dump. GS1 traceability reinforces the importance of object, location and event context.

Lessons in this module

6.1

Contemporaneous records and data integrity

Create contemporaneous, legible and attributable cultivation records and correct errors while preserving the original record history.

Start lesson

6.2

Professional shift handoff

Produce a concise shift handoff that accurately communicates completed work, observations, deviations, unresolved conditions and priorities.

50 min

Start lesson

6.3

Integrated Technician I workflow

Identify common cultivation workplace hazards and select the correct routine response: control within authorization, stop, isolate where authorized, or escalate.
